Visit the Apple Barn at SonLight Apple Orchard for a “pick-your-own” apple experience.

Texas tree ripened apples are extra sweet because the harvest schedule enables carbohydrates to completely convert to natural sugar; and allows apples to reach their maximum flavor.

The Apple Barn is an historic rock barn. Built in the 1860’s from 3 tenant Dwellings, it is located only 4/10 mile from the Courthouse Square on Hwy 29 East. The 8 different apple varieties ripen in sequence on ten day intervals from August 15th through October.
